  • Dimensional stability — the material maintains consistent internal geometry, supporting the accuracy of volumetric measurements over the working lifetime of the glassware.

Generic "borosilicate glass" without the 3.3 designation does not carry the same chemical and thermal resistance characteristics and is not appropriate for regulated analytical laboratory use.
