Bulb pipettes, also known as volumetric pipettes, feature a single calibration mark and a bulb reservoir — designed for the accurate delivery of one specific, precisely defined volume. Class AS bulb pipettes offer the highest accuracy tolerance available for single-mark pipettes and are the appropriate choice for pharmaceutical QC, calibration standard preparation, and any analytical application where the most precise volumetric delivery is required.

Measuring pipettes, also known as graduated pipettes, feature multiple graduation marks along the stem — allowing the delivery of a range of different volumes from a single pipette. Class AS measuring pipettes to DIN 12696 are available in Type 3 configuration with brown graduation markings for clear readability, covering volumes from 0.5mL to 25mL with subdivision markings appropriate for the volume range of each pipette.

Both bulb and measuring pipettes are supplied with lot conformity certificates providing documented traceability — a requirement for volumetric glassware used in validated pharmaceutical analytical methods, GLP-compliant research facilities, and accredited testing laboratory environments.
